Robert P. Nolan has practiced law in the State and federal courts of Illinois for more that forty-five years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University in 1972 and his Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology/Chicago Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. While in law school he published in his school’s Law Review and served during his third year as the Review’s Notes and Comments editor. In 2023 he became a certified Mediator.

 
He has extensive trial experience, having participated in well more than sixty jury trials in both civil and criminal cases, a like number of bench trials and also in appellate work. Other than his litigation work, He has experience in real estate transactions, having represented parties in the sale and purchase of their homes, as well as commercial property.

 
He has also counselled clients in the area of wills and trusts and the formation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
